Phil Kieran is a Belfast‑born DJ, producer and composer whose hardware‑driven sets fuse techno, electro and left‑field electronics into tightly engineered journeys. A fixture of UK‑Irish club culture since the early 2000s, he has appeared at institutions including Berghain (KLUBNACHT, Jul 17, 2010) and London’s fabric, and runs his own label, Phil Kieran Recordings. Beyond the booth he composes for screen, with releases such as Nightride: Original Soundtrack illustrating a cinematic ear that feeds back into the tension and release of his club productions.

His catalogue spans cornerstone imprints. Cocoon Recordings issued his debut album Shh; Hot Creations released the song‑led LP Blinded by the Sun; and Maeve welcomed the exploratory Life Cycling, highlighted by Resident Advisor. He also launched his band project Le Carousel via PKR. Singles and EPs for novamute, Soma Records and Skint Recordsunderscore his range across techno and electronica.

A collaborator at heart, Kieran has shared credits with Green Velvet on the PKR series (Series #001), teamed with Speedy J on EDLX.018 Workshops Vol.1 EP, and reworked Depeche Mode’s “Sweetest Perfection” for Remixes 2: 81–11 (Deluxe). Recent highlights include the driving double‑single It’s All Gone Wrong (PKR) and The Killer with Aaron Thomas, featured in the 2024 film The Crow.
