Originally from Poland, Martin has established himself as an innovative force in techno, known for his unique sound design and compelling compositions that bridge the gap between atmospheric and driving techno.
Over the past twenty years, he has become a fixture in Poland’s club circuit and, during a formative spell in the United Kingdom, absorbed British electronic culture that further honed his unmistakable sound.
Industry icon John Digweed has championed Koltek’s music on his radio show and in festival sets worldwide, most notably supporting the single “Realm” on Compatible Music. A remix package featuring Sebastian Markiewicz, Breccia, Phil Kix and Kiz Pattison amplified the track’s reach, firmly establishing Martin on the global techno map.
His studio work now fuses detailed sound design with dance-floor punch, and the EPs in progress promise to push that aesthetic even further. Showcased more than 20 times on Compatible Radio, his narrative-driven sets are archived on Mixcloud alongside exclusive mixes and label highlights.
