MAM (AR) is part of the vibrant Argentinian progressive-house movement that continues to captivate global dance floors. Raised in the small town of Lobos during the 1990s, he first cut his teeth as a drummer in rock and pop bands before the hypnotic pull of electronic music took over. Self-taught sessions on FL Studio eventually led him to formal lessons with Buenos Aires veteran Juan Goya (SoundProcess), laying the groundwork for a studio craft rooted in melody and groove.

Since his 2016 debut “The Wave” on Compatible Music, MAM’s catalogue has grown to include outings on AH Digital, Hexagonal Music, Lincor and Future Avenue. Highlights range from the space-tinged “The Spaceman” and brooding club weapon “Sed” to his recent EPs “Años Luz” and “Coil,” both of which climbed Beatport’s progressive charts. His productions have earned regular support from tastemakers such as John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Lost Desert and Fernando Ferreyra, while Digweed featured MAM tracks on his Transitions radio show.

Behind the decks, MAM has shared line-ups with national heavyweights Soundexile (Baunder), Marcelo Vasami, Kevin di Serna and Andy Arias, bringing his deep-driving sets to venues across Buenos Aires and the broader underground circuit. A multi-instrumentalist at heart, he complements DJing with live percussion in the studio, lending his records an organic pulse that cuts through modern progressive textures.

With several collaborations and remixes slated for release through 2025, MAM (AR) continues to refine a sound that bridges emotional depth and dance-floor energy—proving that Argentina’s next generation is firmly in step with the global progressive renaissance.
