Andy Woldman
Monterrey-born DJ and producer Andy Woldman flies the flag for Mexican progressive house, marrying cinematic melody with deep-techno propulsion. Since debuting in 2011 he has stacked an expansive catalogue across All Day I Dream (Summer Sampler 2022 standout “Eudaemonia”), Nick Warren‘s The Soundgarden, heritage imprint Bonzai Progressive, Black Hole Recordings and Paul Oakenfold‘s Perfecto Black, while contributing remixes to Manual Musicand ICONYC. The widescreen sound regularly features in sets by Hernán Cattáneo and other Global Underground icons.
A relentless studio schedule is matched by a curatorial one: together with UK partner Gav Easby he steers boutique imprint INU Musika, spotlighting rising talents while delivering his own releases such as the reflective “If I Could” and the driving “Juno Rising” with Oliver Harper. Beyond club cuts, Woldman explores ‘Multi-Directional Electronica’ with Grammy-winning flautist Pedro Eustache, blending modular synths and world-winds in immersive live shows premiered at Los Angeles’ SYNTHPLEX festival.
A collaborative spirit also fuels the floor: a back-to-back session with trance pioneer Sandra Collins spawned the hypnotic EP “Insane” on Abstractive Music, while solo anthem “Frozen Twilight” became a Beatport feature in 2020. From vinyl-only sunrise sets in Tulum to peak-time headline slots across Latin America, Andy Woldman channels emotion and narrative into every mix, crafting journeys that linger long after the final kick fades.
